Department of Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology collaborates with educational institutions and the local community by being involved in activities such as study visits and SciFest. Students, teachers and researchers collaborate with both industry and society, covering a wide range of areas through their work with graduate theses, guest lectures and research collaborations.

Can you drive an RC car faster than our computer? Johan Wågberg took part in SciFest 2015 with a self-driving car track. Using a camera, the computer keeps track of the cars and automatically drives its own car around the track with absolute precision. See how mathematics and control engineering can be used to automatically control advanced systems, and try to beat the computer and put your name on the scoreboard!
