Cloud computing resources

We have cloud computing resources.

We are using and OpenStack-based cloud system from HPE with both vmware- and kvm-compute nodes.

Over the summer it might take some time longer to get a response.

Please note that if you get a virtual machine it is entirely YOUR responsibility to keep the machine and all installed software updated and secure - that is not different from any physical machine. We do NOT have the resources to administer the operating systems of each and every computer.

You (or your research group) will have to pay for the machine(s) to cover costs for general infrastructure in the cloud and backup (if any).

The KVM-node-machines will NOT get any backup, for the VMWare ones you can apply for backup and if you cover the extra costs for this.
