  • A second home exam will be provided Thursday 24 of March
  • Sorry about the confusion regarding deadlines for drafts. The written report (draft) should be submitted at the latest on Thursday, March 10 at 24.00, into Studentportalen, file area: Project assignment. Name the file to your last name
  • Due to the fact that many students seem to have problems with the date of the exam there will be another home exam for those who are interested in trying to get a higher grade. We will try to find a date two weeks after the first exam.
  • During Neil Maidens lectures you'll be asked to do some modeling. This can either be done on paper or with the following Visio plug-in:

  • Supervision Fri 4/3, 10-12. Each group can book an appointment for supervision with Rebecka at her office (1158). Times are available at Rebecka and Åsas door
  • OBS!! There is a change of time for the lecture Thursday 24 of February, and the lecture in the afternoon starts at 15 instead of 13 in room 1211
  • February 14: Presentations from lectures can be found on the course web site. Some changes in the schedule have been made.
  • February 1: You can find your group and a description of which book and which project you belong to in Studentportalen
  • January 20: The first version of the project description page is launched
  • December 14: The first version of the course page is launched

About the course

Start and Schedule

The course starts at 26th of january, and ends 18th of March. The optional exam for a higher grade is on the 28 of March.

Examination

This is a project-based course that requires active involvement. Examination through individual hand-in assignment and a larger group project.
For those interested in higher grades than just the pass grade there is a voluntary Written Home Exam that may warrant you with a higher grade.
The requirements engineering assignments and lectures are mandatory.
We apply the general rules of cheating as prescribed by the Department of Information Technology

Course Literature

The literature in the course will mainly be scientific articles presented and linked to at the Schedulepage, more information at course start.
For those of you that read and understand Swedish a good guide through the course is the book Användarcentrerad systemdesign by Jan Gulliksen and Bengt Göransson, Studentlitteratur, 2002. The book has its own web site.
