There are four initial topics: Cache & memory, Multiprocessors, Scalable Multiprocessors and CPUs. All topics are covered with a similar structure:

Some number of on-line lectures

• 2 Lectures IRL (called Lectures in the schedule)
• One Lab-intro lecture (this is also called Lecture in the schedule)
• One Lab preparation slot. (The Lab room has been booked for you to start trying out the lab. The TA:s are available in their offices for questions.
• Three Lab slots (A, B, C)

At the tail end there are three more lectures where we talk about future trends and repeat some of the contents of the course.
