Aim: The aim of the course is to give the course participants basic understanding of how students learn computer science as well as of computer science can be taught. The participants should get insights in different learning theories, particularly concerning learning of
computer science.

Content: The course presents qualitative and quantitative methods for studying how students learn computer science. Key concepts within computer science education are discussed. Orientation about learning technology. The participants perform individual or group projects. The topic of these projects can be adapted to the interests of the participants.

Teaching: Lectures, lessons, seminars and assignments.

Examination: Essays and seminars ( 2 poäng ) and project report ( 3 poäng ).

Notes: No prerequisites in pedagogy are needed.
