Group Virtual Teams Project Page
An important part of the activity of programming and IT professionals is working in an international context. To prepare for this type of working environment the IT programme includes the Runestone Project as a part of the course Datorsystem II. Experience of working in an international environment includes several important aspects. This project provides fundamental experience in communication and collaboration in a multi-time zone and multi-cultural context.

- (041109) The final phase of the group collaboration was hard to complete, and many people are wondering how to complete the course. What is needed in order to complete is the following.
- Have participated in the AUTonline and group collaboration tool evaluation of web resources to the best of your ability.
- Hand in to Course Manager
a 500 word report based on the following sections
- Global Virtual Team Activity - tell me who you are, what team you were in, and what web resources your group was going to evaluate
- Outcomes - a brief overview of what happened, what decisions were made, if any.
- Structure of a Future Exercise - if you were to design a group collaboration task what features would you include to make it interesting and promote groups' collaboration?
- (041007) I have updated the resources and the project description to give details of what is to be done in the next phase.
- (041006) I spoke with the teachers in NZ today about setting up group meetings in chat sessions. It seems that the time difference might make this hard.
- (041006) I am marking assignments as I get to them. Assignment marking should be complete this week.
- Submissions for Phase 1 will be handled online, please submit your reflection report as HTML, PDF or TEXT document using the online submission system
