The course is designed as a broad introduction to information technology. Students may expect to learn introductory material such as types of computers, Internet browsers and searching the Internet, types of software applications, components for computer hardware, various networks formats, and societal issues including privacy, crime and computer security.
This course consists of Assignments and Labs. There is no Exam. The course and Assignments are conducted and assessed in English, but there may be opportunities to complete Labs in Swedish. In June there will be on-campus lecture opportunities to support student learning. No programming experience is required.
