Next Generation Rescue Robots

One-semester project course at the Information Technology Program, spring 2005.

From this course, you will learn

Theory and practices for synthesis of complex computer systems
Principles and patterns in system design
Methods for efficiently working together in a group of engineers with a given task

The course contains some lectures and lab exercises, but the key element is a 20 week project for developing systems of rescue robots.

Projects

The course boasts two rescue robot projects, called Ratatosk and Ringhorne. The projects maintain their own web pages.
