2004-12-17:

Re-exam questions for the first part of the basic block are now available.

2004-10-15:

The final results are now available.

2004-10-12:

The results of assignment 3 are now available.

2004-10-06:

Comments on the minor exam are available.

2004-10-05:

Assignment 3 is now available. Deadline Sunday, Oct 10.

2004-10-04:

Due to my illness last Friday, there will be one assignment covering Distributed systems, Web, Network and Database security; Security Evaluation will be skipped completely. The assignment will be available tomorrow (Tuesday) and should be handed in Sunday 10/10.

2004-09-30:

The results of the minor exam are now available.

2004-09-27:

  • A suggestion: split "assignment 3" in two, one on the material covered this week and one on next week's. Hand out of first on Friday, second on Tuesday. Hand-in of both Oct 10. This gives you a little more time for the first set.
  • Please select topics for your "focus" PM and presentation no later than October 5th (next Tuesday). Further instructions will appear shortly.

2004-09-26:

  • The next examination will again be by group assignments, not by "dugga". Suggested timing: handout Oct 5, handin Oct 10.
  • Schedule updated.

2004-09-24:

Comments on assignment 2 are now available.

2004-09-22:

  • The results of the second assignment are now available. If you do not agree with the scores, please discuss this with Björn!
  • A summary and comments on the mid-course evaluation is now available.

2004-09-20:

  • The corrected assignments (#1 only) can be retrieved from Magnus.
  • Assignment 2 is being corrected, and we expect to give you results Tuesday.
  • The Forum pages are slightly delayed (I said it'll be an alpha test, didn't I... Smiling smiley
  • There seem to still be problems with web logins. Please report problems to me, giving as much info as you can (e.g. time, where you connected from, who you tried to log in as).

2004-09-17:

  • After sending two erooneous emails, here is the correct info (I hope):
    The first "dugga" (minor exam) will take place
    September 24 (Friday) at 10.15
    in room 2247 at MIC.
    I.e, the Friday lecture.

2004-09-13:

  • The second assignment is now available. Please re-read the (updated) instructions for handins.
  • If you have a concealed email address on your UpUnet-S account and thus can't log in to read the results, either contact UpUnet-S to make your email address public, or contact Björn to get a special username+password to access the result pages.
  • Lecture notes on security models are now available (see Overview).
  • Comments on assignment 1 are now available. [And now with less paranoid protection!]

2004-09-08:

The results of the first assignment are now available.

2004-09-06:

  • Today's lecture notes added.
  • Please make sure you set your email program to use the Quoted-Printable encoding (see FAQ). Valid signatures will be required from now.
  • A Thawte-certificate "notarisation" session, to certify your identity in order to get your name in the certificate, will be arranged on Thursday (9/9) directly after the lecture. Further instructions here.
  • Please get in touch with your group. If you want to change the group structure, make sure all involved are in on the decision, and then inform me.

2004-09-04:

  • A list of groups is now available. Please get in touch with eachother!
  • The FAQ is updated about certificates.

2004-08-31:

An FAQ page has been added, which all students with an UpUnet-S account (not using protected email address) can edit. Please do.

2004-08-30:

A list of students not yet in a group is available here. Please try to contact eachother and form groups; on Wednesday morning I will form groups randomly from the remainders.
