Graduate Courses

There are two mandatory courses:

• Research ethics at least 2hp for all Ph.D. students; here is an example course in ethics for engineering students
• Teacher Training Course at least 7.5hp for those Ph.D. students who have teaching duties; here is an example course.

The IT department offers a core curriculum of graduate courses regularly. In addition, courses in form of seminars and guest lectures are organized, to cover special issues and timely research topics. The core curriculum covers the following areas.

• Computer Science and Systems
• Scientific Computing
• Systems and Control
• Computerized image processing
• Human Computer Interaction
