Excursion to SunGard in Stockholm, April 20. SunGard develops software that is used in the financial sector for trading, management and accounting. They will give a presentation of the company, their software development process and other activities.

at the Department of Mathematics, Uppsala University gave the seminar Building mathematical models of anything and everything. After the seminar we all had lunch together.

We got the opportunity to visit the nuclear power plant in Forsmark. This was a full-day trip, including a guided tour in one of the nuclear reactor buildings.

at the Department of Mathematics, Uppsala University, gave a seminar entitled Validated Numerics - a short introduction to rigorous computations after which we enjoyed a nice lunch together.
