  • Research (your own without salary)
  • Leave of abcence without salary
  • Family reason
  • Studies without salary
  • Parental leave (with or without parental benefit)
  • Temporary parental benefit including "pappa-dagar" (paternity leave in contection with child birth)

• For other leave of absence (e.g. leave of absence for trade-union work) please use this leave of absence form. Leave the completed form to your personell administrator.
• Form for Leave of absence due to another job. Leave the completed form to your personell administrator.

• Notification of illness, please send an e-mail to or contact Ulrika Andersson or Anna-Lena Forsberg.
• Back at work, report at the Primula webb.

Please note that if your illness will keep you from work longer than a week you have to inform Ulrika Andersson or Anna-Lena Forsberg, and you are also obliged to hand in a doctor's certificate. This also concerns employees who are looking after a sick or disabled child at home. The forms are only available in Swedish.

Unemployment insurance

All employees at Uppsala University are entitled to make an optic examination to establish an eventual need of computer glasses (in Swedish). Please contact Ulrika Andersson or Anna-Lena Forsberg for a requisition.
