Leave of abscence, vacation

  • To apply for Vaccion and most reasons for leave of absence use the Primula webb such as:
    • Vaccination
    • Exams
    • Moving (your own)
    • Research (your own without salary)
    • Leave of abcence without salary
    • Family reason
    • Studies without salary
    • Parental leave (with or without parental benefit)
    • Temporary parental benefit including "pappa-dagar" (paternity leave in contection with child birth)

Notification of illness/recovered from illness

Please note that if your illness will keep you from work longer than a week you have to inform Ulrika Andersson or Anna-Lena Forsberg, and you are also obliged to hand in a doctor's certificate. This also concerns employees who are looking after a sick or disabled child at home. The forms are only available in Swedish.


Company healthcare

From the 1st of January 2007 Länshälsan Uppsala AB takes care of the company healthcare at Uppsala University. They are located at Uppsala Science Park, Dag Hammarsköldsväg 54 B, telephone: 018-677600.


Unemployment insurance

Computer glasses

All employees at Uppsala University are entitled to make an optic examination to establish an eventual need of computer glasses (in Swedish). Please contact Ulrika Andersson or Anna-Lena Forsberg for a requisition.
