Software Aspects of High-Performance Computing

We study issues related to software for the numerical solution of time dependent partial differential equations on high-performance computers. In this context, we consider four themes: (a) object-oriented software frameworks, (b) load balancing, (c) efficient implementation, and (d) adaptive software

The group consists of three senior members; Michael Thuné (head of group), Jarmo Rantakokko, and Richard Wait, as well as PhD students; Henrik Johansson.

The group belongs to the Division of Scientific Computing at the Department of Information Technology.
