Abstract

The purpose of the Interface Test System (ITS) is to provide a simple and easy to use general interface test system. There are three basic properties of ITS to support this. First, the ability to import display pixmaps from many sources (screen dumps, drawing tools, etc.) in any pixmap format. To assist in this ITS uses the XV Image Viewer and the PBMPLUS image converting software by Jeff Poskanzer as well as several special utility programs. Second, test sequences and interaction control is specified in a high level command language interpreted by the runtime control program ITS_runexp. Third, the exact timing and logging of all events in the interaction and tools to analyse these logs.
