Introduction to Master level studies in Computer Science, COPA and Sino-Swedish at Uppsala University 2017
How to get here: We are located at the ITC Polacksbacken
. The introductory programme mainly takes place at room 1211, level 2, in building 1, at Informationsteknologiskt Centrum (on top of the map).
Enrolment Formalities: All students need to bring a valid ID (e.g., passport or an EU national ID card) to the meeting on Monday August 21, 13:15. Students with a provisional offer of enrolment in addition need to provide the necessary original documents (eg. graduation certificate). This will be done in 1211 at 15.00. We recommend everyone to bring a list of the courses you have studied in your previous degree.
Study Plans: You will select your courses in collaboration with one of your teachers/counsellors during the orientation week. The selection will take place in individual or small group meetings with Anders Berglund, Liselott Dominicus, Mohamed Faouzi Atig (COPA specialisation),
Please bring a suggested curriculum (in written), a list of all your previous courses within the broad field of computer science, as well as your letter of acceptance and passport to the individual meeting. We would also strongly suggest that you think about how you want to specialise in Uppsala, and think about how to present those ideas in a few words. Finally, make sure that you prepare questions to ask.
