In connection to the workshop, an intensive course on SMC will be given August 24-29 (right before the workshop).

The aim of this course is to provide the participants with the background that is needed to start using and developing Sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) methods. The course consists of a lecture series and associated practical homeworks.
