Biography

I received my M. Sc. in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering - International with specialization Mechatronics (sv. Civilingenjör i Teknisk Fysik och Elektroteknik - Internationell, inriktning Mekatronik), from Linköping University in 2013. After graduation, I was awarded the Tryggve Holm Medal for outstanding achievements during my studies.

During my bachelor studies, I spent my third year at Swiss Federal Institute of Technolgy Zurich (ETH) as an exchange student, where I took various courses in mainly physics and electrical engineering, and did my master thesis Model Predictive Control with Invariant Sets in Artificial Pancreas for Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), with Dr. Ravi Gondhalekar as my supervisor.

For a shorter period of time, I have also been working with simulation environments for jet engine control systems at GKN Aerospace Engine Systems (former Volvo Aero), and with automatic generation of control code for manufacturing lines (my B.Sc. thesis) at Production Technology West.

I have also been involved in the Swedish Federation of Young Scientists for many years, and I served as treasurer and vice president in the national board between 2010 to 2012. On my spare time, one of mye hobbies is photography.
