Broadening the recruitment base
The ambition in CeTUSS is to change education practices at the university level in order to meet changing needs in Engineering education when it comes to making the education more socially relevant. This is as we see it important in providing an education that will be relevant and motivationg for a broader range of stundents. We do not claim to address the issue of broadening the base of students that consider engineering as an alternative for them. However, we see that questin as being of vital importance, and especially when it comes to finding ways to reach kids in their earlier school years (Kindergarten to year 12, K12 education).
